Canal scrub bash near Leasowes Park
Meet at the Lapal Canal Trust notice board adjacent 165 Hamilton Avenue, Halesowen, B62 8UB.
Wrap up warm and bring own hand tools and gloves for cutting wood and cutting back nettles and brambles. The canal at this point has been filled in and the objective is to tidy/trim the coppice to avoid tree roots going through the buried puddle clay lining any more than it might have already.
